Both generations of G502 have a curvy shape that fills your hand and feels good to hold for long stretches. Measuring 3.13 x 5.25 x 1.63 inches and weighing 3.7 ounces, it’s a lighter and slightly wider mouse than the G502 Lightspeed, though they feel the same in hand. The G502 X design, Plus or otherwise, has been streamlined and optimized mostly for style’s sake, though there are some tangible changes. The high bar it set now sits a little higher. On the other, it’s an improved version of a mouse that was already among the best you could buy. On the one hand, you’ll be hard-pressed to say that the G502 X Plus, or any G502 X, features any changes that would make a world of difference compared to its predecessor. The Plus earns its title bump (and a slightly higher price tag) with a large RGB light bar that runs across its palm rest. It Does a 1000hz polling rate, and a true 25600 DPI, which is for me atleast unusable fast, its incredible.īettery Life also seems to be as Expected, 120 hours+, with lights off and everything. At the top of the heap, there’s a new “flagship” model – the G502 X Plus – an upgraded version of the G502 lightspeed that’s lighter and can get better battery life. Nice Tactile Feedback, nice Click, and the Pressure needed for a klick is also Good, not too light and not too much. The left and right mousebuttons are good. The mosuewheel is interestingly stiff, alot stiffer then on my MX 3, not a problem, but not used to it, tho it gives me more precision and less skipping as it is with the magnet coupled wheel. The mouse does only work via Lightspeed, not bluetooth as i said beforehand already. Im used to having my hand covering the mouse like i do with the Mx Master 3, but here i cant do that anymore, so i can update this here later after a few days, tho it shouldnt be a problem for smaller hands i guess.Īfter now a first few minutes, i can say a few more things: The Lightning Effects are quite nice to look at, but abit annoying to disable completly, needing atfirst the main settings and then again in the system settings of the G hubAlso in the G hub you can put macros and key combinations on all buttons, thats quite nifty i must sayīut for now, i will need to get used to the handling. always hitting it, which isnt bad, but needs some readjustment of my grip from what im used. Im totally not used to it and its super weird to have a mouse this light in my Hands. The First Touch then was quite Nice, Feels good, Has some nice rubber on the thumb rest.the gliding is quite nice with the ptfe feet, or better said area because its alotThe mouse has alot of Buttons, And Most are nice, the DPI switches, the Wheel Unlock, back and forth, all quite nice. The first problem i have with the mouse is that in my normal way to grab it, my thumb always rests on the "aim-dpi" button, which is annoying. So i Finally got it, as i said in my last post, and now can give a first hands on.As Comaprison i have my Trusty Mx Master 3 If you wish to be added to the sidebar, please provide the mods with proof of connection with your company through mod mail.īe sure to check out our sister peripheral/input subreddits: Roccat - /u/RoccatAndi /u/TeamROCCAT /u/ROCCATLeuchtrakete Razer - /u/Razer_TheFiend /u/seeson /u/Cult_Of_Razer /u/razer-right /u/Razer_Pebo /u/razerbenz Logitech - /u/LogitechG_Coonrad /u/Logitech_CSLaurie /u/logi_jim /u/logi_pr /u/logi_as /u/logi_dm /u/logi_ss Lethal Gaming Gear - u/dheisman21882 /u/xSEEBEEx Glorious - /u/woox13 /u/GloriousZaper u/GloriousBIG /u/GloriousEmpress /u/GloriousPanther_ /u/GloriousKeem Welcome to /r/MouseReview!
